Praxis Guides - Step-by-Step How-To Articles for XenForo

Praxis Guides - Step-by-Step How-To Articles for XenForo V1.0.5

Improved Guide Image Quality

Praxis Guides now displays step images using their original attachment source instead of generated preview thumbnails.

This preserves the available image resolution and provides clearer, sharper visuals, particularly for screenshots and detailed tutorials.

Existing guide images will benefit automatically after upgrading. No re-uploading or additional configuration is required.

Custom guide fields for more flexible guide content

Praxis Guides 1.0.4 introduces a XenForo-native custom field system designed specifically for guides.

Administrators can now create reusable guide fields, assign them globally or to selected categories, configure validation and required-field rules, and choose exactly where each field appears on the guide page.

Custom field values are available while creating and editing guides and are included in XenForo's native search index.

This release also includes additional category validation, data consistency improvements, and general refinements for XenForo 2.3.

Praxis Guides 1.0.3

This update improves attachment compatibility for guide steps and ensures step-based media works more reliably with XenForo’s content linking system and compatible attachment tools.
  • Improved step attachment content linking.
  • Enhanced compatibility with attachment picker and attachment reuse workflows.
  • Step attachments now resolve to the related guide step more cleanly.
  • Minor internal refinement for XenForo content integration.
This is a recommended maintenance update for all customers.
